Meat!
Picked up a bunch of meat this week for lunches and dinners! Two large packs of boneless skinless chicken breasts at $3.99/lb; Chicken quarters for $6.18 for 6! (tons for my lunches for the next week or so)! a small ground beef and a pack of pork for dinner this week!
Ziploc Containers and Price Matching!
Great deal this week on Ziploc containers on sale at Metro for $2.99 - $1.00 coupon = $1.99 per pack! Picked up two different sizes one for lunches and the other is a good size for baking. I do wish they had their larger sizes... seems to be the largest size they have that I picked up. Also got Mazola Canola Oil for $1.99 Fortino's (Reg $5.39 at my Fresh Co!) and Almond Milk at Metro for $2.99
Fruit and Veggies!
Grabbed a bunch of fruit and veg this week: Oranges .88 cents/lb (Metro); Asparagus $1.98/lb (Food Basics); Broccoli .98 cents/each (Food Basics); and Roma Tomatoes for .96 cents/lb (No Frills).
